BISHOP D. A. SHERRON was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and began preaching at age three. A fifth generation pastor, he was licensed at eleven, ordained at fifteen, and planted his first church at seventeen. Today, he serves as the founder and senior pastor of Global Fire Church, a growing multiethnic, multigenerational church in Brooklyn, New York.

Every week, his ministry broadcast, "Expect Greater!" shares the powerful messages preached from The Global Pulpit. Utilizing social media technologies, he has a digital audience of over 85,000 with over 250 weekly subscribers. 

A trailblazer, he was consecrated to the Bishopric on September 13, 2015, and serves on the Apostolic Council of the Metro Apostolic Network, under Bishop Frank Dupree. He is a council member of the United States Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (USCAL), the International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC), and the Issachar Initiative with Dr. Mark Chironna. He is passionate about loving, living and leading like Christ.

Bishop Joseph Mattera (Guest Minister)

Joseph Mattera is an internationally known author, futurist, interpreter of culture and activist/theologian whose mission is to influence leaders who influence nations. He founded Resurrection Church of New York in 1985, out of which many leaders were sent out into the church and marketplace.

In 1999 Joseph founded a network of churches called Christ Covenant Coalition and in 2003 founded City Action Coalition which represented thousands of churches and helped lead many initiatives that involved numerous press conferences, and rallies with thousands of people in several cities in the Tri-State region.

He recently founded "The United States Coalition of Apostolic Leaders" which already has approximately three hundred significant leaders as members. Joseph has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Bakke Graduate University and is the author of seven books including four theological books on the Kingdom of God, as well as a blog on Charisma magazine called "The Pulse".
